Leadtec Professional Options

Leadtec provides advanced shop floor control and gross payroll software solutions standard with all configurations. The following software options are available to enhance the capabilities of Leadtec Professional.

• Paging and Messaging: utilizes pagers or cell phones (text messaging) to automatically route messages to people responsible for solving time sensitive issues on the plant floor.
• ODBC File Access: allows users to view and extract data from Leadtec Professional files to prepare custom analyses and reports directly from the database.
• Flexible Incentives: enables Leadtec to handle complex multi-variable incentives such as those used in cutting rooms, some fabrication processes and warehouse situations.
• Shared Terminal Option: allows multiple operators to share a single Leadtec real-time terminal for purposes of clock in and out, scan bundles, and query earnings and performance.
• Modular Manufacturing Option: captures production and attendance data for each operator in a module. Gross pay calculations can be based on a combination of actual coupon earnings for each individual and for the entire group.
• Unit Counter: manages environments where work is not performed in bundles such as modular sewing, manual unit production systems, or bulk operations.
• Group Incentive: describes a single job that is performed by a small group of operators working together, whose earnings are based entirely on their collective performance; captures GI production and attendance data in real-time, provides real-time and historical reporting, and automatically calculates gross payroll.
• Message Boards: inform and motivate groups of employees using moving message board(s) to display information to a team, section, department, or an entire plant.
• Central Cutting/Engineering: provides the ability to centrally maintain selected information and to easily share the information with other Leadtec sites, as is often the case for engineering data and in centralized cutting locations.
• ERP Interfaces: enables Leadtec Ultra to update production information with the ERP system at scheduled intervals as work progresses through the manufacturing process. Leadtec provides a standard interface for all ERP systems and has created custom interfaces specifically for BlueCherry, Eton, Gerber 100, and Movex solutions.
• Real-Time Manufacturing Instructions: displays product-specific manufacturing instructions directly on an operator's real-time terminal whenever a relevant bundle is scanned.
• Purchase Transactions: allows for recording of special clerical transaction entries using a real-time Leadtec terminal. Transactions can include the number of times an employee's ID card is scanned or an amount purchased by each employee.
• ADP Payroll Interface: provides a specific interface between Leadtec gross payroll and a net payroll which is processed by ADP. Users can select various gross payroll data items for properly formatted output to ADP payroll.
• Plant Bells: enables Leadtec to drive an existing announcement system to announce shift start and stop times, lunches, breaks, etc. and synchronizes timing between the systems.
• Order Tracking: offers a higher level of work-in-process tracking that provides status information for orders (cutting orders, customer orders, purchase order, production order, etc.).
• Fire Retardant Material Tracking: tracks the various raw materials used in a product to comply with regulatory or liability reporting requirements in the bedding (federal flammability standards) and other relevant industry segments.
• Access Control: controls facility access by using employee identification to control door locks.
• Time Clock Biometric Verification: verifies operator identity by performing a fingerprint or hand scan during clock-in; can be integrated into Hourly Time Clocks for greater attendance accuracy.
• Eton Integration: integrates Eton 2002, 4000 or 5000 series unit productions systems with Leadtec to provide a real-time “wall to wall” factory-wide solution.
